산호 블록(Coral block)은 고체 블록으로서, 관 산호 블록, 뇌 산호 블록, 거품 산호 블록, 사방 산호 블록 등 다섯가지 종류가 있다.

죽은 산호 블록(Dead coral block)은 산호 블록의 죽은 변종들이다.

획득 방법

산호 블록은 섬세한 손길 마법이 부여된 곡괭이를 사용해야만 얻을 수 있다. 아닐 경우, 각각 대응되는 죽은 산호 블록을 드롭한다. 죽은 산호 블록은 어떠한 종류의 곡괭이로도 채취할 수 있다.

자연적 생성

산호 블록과 죽은 산호 블록은 산호초 구조물에서 자연적으로 생성된다. 산호초는 따뜻한 바다에서 생성된다.

설치 방법에 따라 산호 블록이 죽을 수도
살 수도 있다.

산호 블록과 죽은 산호 블록은 건축 혹은 장식용 블록으로 사용할 수 있다.

죽은 산호 블록

산호 블록이 살아 있으려면, 적어도 대각선으로 인접한 블록중 하나가 물이어야 한다. 물 밖에 설치되면, 몇 초 후 산호 블록이 대응되는 죽은 산호 블록으로 바뀌게 된다. 죽은 산호 블록은 색이 흑백으로 바뀌게 된다.

November 18, 2017					Coral blocks were shown in a clip at MINECON Earth. Horn coral, fire coral, tube coral, and dead coral were shown (only one variant at the time), and in the clip slab variants of coral were shown as well.

여담

• 베드락 에디션에서 사방 산호 블록은 자바 에디션과 텍스처가 다르다.
  • 하지만, 이들의 죽은 산호 버전은 텍스처가 동일하다.
• 베드락 에디션에서 플레이어가 1천만개의 산호 블록을 물 속에 설치한 후, Mojang은 전세계 산호초 보존과 복구를 위하여 The Nature Conservancy에 10만 달러를 기부하였다.
